Membership

If you would like to join the UKCAA, please download the membership form and return as instructed below. Before you elect to join, please also download and read our constitution. Membership of the UKCAA is subject to agreement to abide by the rules and objectives of the UKCAA as defined in the UKCAA Constitution and subject to amendments that may be published from time to time. All policy documentation will be published here as it becomes available.

BMFA membership is mandatory. UKCAA membership will automatically lapse if BMFA membership lapses for any reason. Proof of BMFA membership will be required at any event organised by the UKCAA. It should be noted that participation at all events may require either a minimum BMFA Fixed Wing 'A' or possibly a 'B' Achievement if the event is deemed to be a public display event. If this is required it will be stated on the event details. Pilots must also display their valid CAA Operator-ID on their model and hold a current CAA Flyer-ID or hold a valid and current BMFA RCC Certificate

2024 Fees

The membership period will run from 1st March 2024 to 28th Feb 2025 or 2027.

For this session the membership fee is either £10 for one year or £20 for 3 years. There is no charge for Juniors.

Junior Members

Junior members (under the age of 18) are very welcome but Junior members under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by either their parent or guardian or, with advanced agreement from a UKCAA official, another responsible BMFA registered model flyer who will be the nominated guardian.

The parent of gaurdian will be responsible for the behaviour of the Junior member and any associated action arising from attendance at a UKCAA event.

Regalia

T-shirt

Please note that Elite Workwear operate independently of the UKCAA and they are solely responsible for order processing, production delivery and quality of their product range.

Windscreen and Flightbox stickers are available to current members. If you would like a sticker (or two), please send an SAE to the UKCAA Administrator:
